Up for auction is a pair of Nautilus 804 B&W's. These towers are an audiophile's dream! They sell for $2250 Each cabinet and use the same drivers and tweeters as their bigger sister in the same 800 line that cost over $14,000 for the pair. Outside of the $5,000 price tag for these, they are better than new because they have been gently broken in and sound better and better every day.
I've been running them off of my Melos separates and for stereo music only, never for theater. The sonics are heavenly and the soundstaging better than impressive. Crossovers between the low drivers, Kevlar mids and surface mounted tweeters is tight and accurate. The transition between highs and lows is immaculate.
Enough said; if you have already heard these, then there are no words. Their condition is immaculate and you can see the knotty lines in the solid walnut cabinets. They are bi-wirable and I guarantee you they will place you in higher dimensions.
I am starting the bid at $1 with no reserve.
Buyer pays actual shipping charges to the continental US ONLY; I will either get the original boxes from the factory or custom build shipping crates. If you have bad or little feedback, email me before bidding.
