sharp-looking boombox features a docking station, a
carrying handle, a wireless remote, and high-quality
speakers that make portable enjoyment of XM a piece
of cake.
Your Xpress or
Roady XT docks firmly in the Audio System's center
enclosure. The boombox's rugged, water-resistant
design makes it the ideal companion for your outdoor
activities. It accepts 8 "C" batteries, and features
a convenient built-in integrated antenna, so you
won't have to worry about extra cords and wires. The
molded carrying handle makes it easy to tote, and
the stereo speaker system uses separate woofers and
tweeters to put out healthy, forceful sound.
You can use
the Audio System indoors, too. It comes with an
indoor power adapter, and offers a headphone jack
for private listening. A wireless remote gives you
across-the-room system control.
Weather Resistant: The
boombox is designed to be water resistant with a door
over the XM tuner and rubber covers over the headphone
jack and volume controls on the front of the unit.
Power Options:
The boombox can be operated on household AC current
using an AC adapter (not included). The unit can also operate
using 8 "C" batteries, allowing you to take it with you
wherever you go.
Antenna:
The unit has a built-in XM satellite antenna with a
single SMB connector. For improved reception while
indoors, an optional external home antenna can be used.
When using an optional external antenna, the plug for
the internal antenna can be tucked away into a recess
under the battery compartment cover. For best reception,
place the boombox or optional antenna in a location that
has a relatively clear view of the southern sky.
Remote:
The included remote control offers most of the control
functions on the front of the tuner, plus volume +/- and
mute. Headphones:
For private listening, you can use the front-mounted
headphone jack (3.5mm mini-jack) for plugging in a set
of stereo headphones. When headphones are plugged in,
the unit's speakers are muted.
