About Extended Warranties
{Pro or Con}Generally, Catvision Digital would fall into the con group in reference to Extended Warranties, especially when it comes to major household appliances. For the most part we feel that extended warranties are nothing more than large profit makers for most retailers. The exception to the rule would be on some Consumer Electronics.
Catvision Digital {shoeones} does not sell extended warranties, we do recommend that extended warranties on SOME consumer Electronics be purchased directly from SquareTrade, eBay's largest service provided.
We have received input from many of our buyers and we are very aware that one of the main reasons, that many of our buyers purchase from us is because we have made extended warranties available on their purchases through SquareTrade.
The biggest concern from many eBay buyers seems to be a real fear that what they purchase on eBay either might not work properly or might not last. Making extended warranty options available addresses that fear.
The first thing to consider in deciding whether to purchase an extended warranty on a consumer electronics item is, does the extended warranty cover damage caused by power surges? The limited warranties from most consumer electronics manufacturers do not cover power surge damage. It is estimated that over 70% of electronic failures or defects are caused by power surges, even when power surge strip protectors are used.
That is precisely why the manufacturers do not cover power surge damage under their warranties.
The second thing to consider, in deciding whether to purchase an extended warranty or not: Is the extended warranty transferable? That is important if you are giving the item as a gift, or if you ever decide to resell the item at a later date. The manufacturer limited warranties are not transferable.
Another consideration: How Hi-tech is the consumer electronic item that will be covered by the extended warranty? Will it be more expensive to repair the item, than to purchase a new one? CD players/recorders and DVD player/recorders using lasers come to mind. A small invest in an extended warranty, might get you a brand new replacement for your item.
Last major consideration: Is the consumer electronic item you purchase a multi function item? Does it have more than one electronic component built in? TV/VCR/DVD combo units are one example of high risk items. Three-in-one or 4-in-1 stereo systems that may include a record player, CD player, cassette player, and a stereo radio is another example.
Shopping for an extended warranty, should be no different, than the shopping of the item that the extended warranty will cover. Go slow, weight the costs, and ask questions.

ALWAYS check a sellers feedback rating. Check both the feedback rating number AND the Positive feedback %. Both numbers are important. We are very proud of ours. We have received over 2300 positive feedbacks from our buyers.
Please follow ebay's suggested policy and contact us if there is a problem BEFORE leaving neutral or negative feedback.
We love to leave our buyers Positive Feedback.

All items are in stock at the time of their listing. But, pulling from my own local warehouse as well as other out-sourcing warehousers, things can happen. On the rare occasion the auction ends and the item is not in stock, the Auction will be refunded in FULL, or if available a step up model will be offered at the same cost.

We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. We've set some basic guidelines you'll need to keep in mind when requesting an exchange. Initial defective items {DOA} must be returned within 30 days from date of delivery with a Return Merchandise Authorization number. (Buyer pays shipping costs to return item)
Most Ebay Sellers D.O.A. return policy is for 3-7 days, our policy is for 30 days.
The Crosley factory warranty is for 90 days. If an item is defective within that time, but after the first 30 days, the buyer needs to follow the instructions on the warranty card included with every Crosley item. This calls for calling the telephone number listed on the warranty card, obtaining an RA #, etc.
Unlike many eBay sellers of Crosley products, any defective Crosley product, purchased from Catvision Digital {shoeones}, can be taken to any Crosley factory authorized service center.
Catvision Digital's Defective Item Policy applies to merchandise shipped with-in the US only. International buyers will need to exercise their rights within the Crosley warranty and deal directly with Crosley.
All exchanges must be made within 30 days of receipt of the merchandise. Merchandise must be in original factory condition, and must include all original packaging materials, warranty cards, manuals and accessories.
We inspect all returned merchandise. Any item that is returned and found not to be defective, will incur a 25% restocking fee and the buyer will then be charged with all of the actual shipping costs involved with this transaction.
All returns must include a Return Merchandise Authorization Number.
The shipping charges, if any, listed for this item is for merchandise shipped within the lower 48 continental United States via UPS or FedEx. UPS/FedEx do not ship to PO Boxes.

Canadian Brokerage, Import Duties and Custom Fees:
Each Canadian Province has their own formula to calculate custom fees and import duties on items that you either bring in or have sent into Canada. If you bring the item in, you have to pay the custom fees when you, re-enter Canada. If you have the item shipped in, the shipper has to collect the brokerage custom fees from you, that they in turn, turn over to Canadian Customs. The custom brokerage fees are in no way related to the cost of shipping your item, the shipper simply collects the fees from the Canadian buyer and turns the fees over to Canadian Customs.
UPS ground is the only way we ship to Canada.

We accept Paypal which is our preferred method of payment. Pay with you Visa or Mastercard through PayPal.
