This Sunfire Professional True Subwoofer is in fair condition and sounds fantastic. Bob Carver’s Sunfire subs changed the audio industry, forcing other manufactures to go back to the drawing board and this is the ever so rare pro version he designed from the True Sub MKII home model.
Carver added extra power and different tuning on the passive radiator. The end result was a sub that would make 3dB more output then the already amazing home model and has some cool handles and hardware that make it much easier to move the sub and protects the drivers & cabinet
Some Details:
Condition – Unit has some scrapes and abrasions but nothing that compromises the integrity of the enclosure and most of the issues are on the additional hardware added for pro use – handles, metal corner protectors – and do not affect the stunning performance of the Pro True Sub
Unit has both balanced XLR and Single Ended on RCA inputs - I have always found the Balanced connection to be more secure and am including a high-end XLO single ended to XLR adapter - this cost $60.00 - so the unit can be used through its balance input with single ended cable runs from the source
