One pair of Quad 2 monoblocks complete with GEC KT66/Mullard meshplate EF86 and GZ32 valves.
Cosmetic condition is a very conservative 8/10. Just a few general handling marks/scuffs (See pics)
No modifications or 'improvements', all that has been changed are the coupling capacitors.
All capacitors have been carefully chosen and A/B'd to retain the original Quad 2 sonic quality.
The coupling caps for the KT66's are U.K military spec Paper in oil made by Hunts and Audyn KPSN tin foil in the EF86 position.
I will include the originals should you want them.
All original resistors are within tolerance as are all other components.
They were delivered by Quad to the original owner in 303 boxes with dedicated Quad 2 polystyrene inserts.
I coupled these with a Croft Super Micro to drive Rogers Ls3/5a's and Esl 57's to great effect.
I am including a pair of handmade solid silver pre to power interconnects, and a matched pair of Golden Dragon KT66's which were used for casual/everyday listening.
Both mains cables (not pictured) are also included.
All in all, a trouble free, original sounding unmodified pair of Quad 2's in wonderful condition.
