The speakers are supplied boxed, with a user manual, rubber feet, mounting screws and a fused DC power lead with bare ends, which connects to a 12-24V DC un-regulated power supply rated at 500mA or more, available from bhi (1030-UKPA £9.95 or 1030-EUPA £9.95).
The NES10-2MKII noise cancelling speaker greatly improves the clarity and intelligibility of speech in a variety of applications and is suitable for use with most amateur radio radios as well as many other radio applications where background noise and interference give poor quality reception.

I have recently purchased one of your Company’s NES10-2 Noise Eliminating Speakers after reading a review in the August edition of Short Wave Magazine. Having used other digital noise reducers in the past, I did not expect any great improvement on them but when I connected your speaker to my Icom 8500 I was absolutely amazed by the effect. On tuning around the amateur band, virtually all white noise and hash was removed, making ssb signals sound almost like FM. The same effect was obtained when I used the speaker with my JRC NRD535 receiver making listening with both radios a much greater pleasure. "Very often the noise levels on the SW HF bands shows S5 on the radio’s meter making life very difficult listening to voices, even at S8 & 9, but I am very happy that the NES10-2 is able to cut down the noise and interference to such a level that a voice is almost like a phone call. There is some semblance of an echo in the background, but is not too disturbing. I am using the unit on step 6, and have heard Japan and Australia amateurs very clearly indeed with very little background noise at all. I purchased a BHI NES10-2 noise eliminating speaker from your company on the 14-04-2008 having missed your dispatch post so it was dispatched on the 15-04-2008 and received it this morning at 08.15 am 16-04-2008 I then connected it to my YAESU FT 817 the result was fantastic it was just like working a local FM contact , I can now start using my FT817 on HF to the full advantage as I was finding the background noise on HF was affecting my hearing ( I am 80 ) I had stopped trying to use HF.

"Put simply I think the NES10-2 is the best noise reduction system I have seen. Those people who I demonstrated the unit to said the same.
