This unit remains in working condition with typical signs of use. The LCD is brand new and free of blemishes. The casing does show heavier wear on the back, but this is fairly typical of used iPods. - The battery can hold and accept a charge, but we can make no guarantees of future performance. Nor can we guarantee how much longer the battery will last. However, these units are only about one year old, and should continue to have functionality for some time.
