The greens and yellows are never a problem, but with our built-in amplifier, typically even the browns are possible
if you have proper height placement and path clearance to the transmitter. **See below Q's & A's.
Just input your address and it gives the stations and where their transmitters are placed so as to point the antenna for those channels,
click the station and it gives more info on power and location of transmitter. What this website does not list is the sub-channels if any for each station.

Not all areas have the same reception, so no antenna can work the same in all areas.
Please use due-diligence and confirm you have a signal available for the antenna to pickup.
It's not a matter of miles from the transmitters, as much as that the signal has "NO Major Obstruction"
and has the ability to reach you like a "Ray of Light from the Sun" from the transmitter tower.
This applies to all antennas, if there is a signal, our antenna with its built-in amplifier has the best chance to receive it.

Q: WHAT DO I NEED TO PUT IT TOGETHER?
A: All you need is a ¾”- 1” O.D. pole mast. Setting up this antenna is easy.
Q: WHY DO YOU SAY LAVA ELECTRONICS INC IS THE ORIGINAL ANTENNA.
A: Not original antenna, Original All-N-One Rotor/Amplified/Compact “RAC” design antenna since 2003, many have since copied, none have equaled.
Q: HOW HIGH SHOULD I PLACE THE ANTENNA?
A: Higher the BETTER! To maximize reception from a further out transmitter in the 80-120 mile range, high above roofline is required. Second story with a 10’ mast is even better. You cannot get 80+ Mile reception at placing an antenna on ground level or if in the middle of taller buildings or at the bottom of a valley, No matter what anyone says.
Q: WILL THIS ANTENNA WORK IN THE ATTIC?
A: For the best reception we advise the outdoors, but in some areas because of heavy snow the best place may be in the attic, but your distance may go down by half, this applies to all antennas in attics. Antennas installed in the attic need to be aimed more accurately facing the transmitters for the best reception.
**Q: WHY DO YOU NOT ADVERTISE AS A 150 MILE ANTENNA LIKE OTHERS? Why the ???
A: I cannot honestly advertise it as a straight 150 Mile antenna like others because LAVA Electronics does not claim it to be a 150 Mile antenna, they report it to be up to 120 miles under the right conditions. Only the less than truthful retail dealer/vendors do, not to mention the “OVERLY HYPED” claims by sellers of the cheaply made “Import Knock-Offs. But it seems everyone advertises their antenna just to make the sale, why not 200, 300 miles? Only under the perfect of conditions can one expect reception of 100+ miles. So unless you are on flat plains with a tall tower and a straight shot to a tall transmitter, or on top of a mountain with no obstruction to the transmitter, meaning you are not at the bottom of a valley, with mountains, hills, large trees or building obstructions between you and the transmitter, it is very difficult to get 100+ Miles, no matter what anyone advertises or without spending hundreds on equipment. But if any antenna here on eBay can, it would be ours.

**A Quick Story**
When it comes to reception it's not the distance, as much as does the signal have the strength and lack any obstructions to reach you. My prime example is a client who purchased our antenna to receive
San Diego, CA stations, only 25 miles North/East of his beach home on Rosarito Beach, Baja Calif, just south of the U.S. border. Not one channel did he watch because of multiple large hills/mountains
between his home and the San Diego transmitters. Yet, he picks up channel from the transmitters on top of Mt. Wilson where all the Los Angeles, CA transmitters are located.
No San Diego channels just 25 miles away, but receives Los Angeles channels 135 miles from the north because of no obstructions along the shore of the Pacific Ocean and the strength of the transmitters.
The signal must be able to reach the antenna from the transmitter like a "Ray of Sunshine from the Sun", please confirm your specific situation before you buy, for these are issues beyond our control. Thank you.

Fakes acting like they're the original. How can a Knock-off be better? It can't!
For the past year eBay has been FLOODED with sellers of knock-offs of our Original LAVA HD-2605, acting like they invented it, the nerve!
We've seen a dozen of these bootleg sellers come and go this year since they invaded eBay with their "fakes", they are all buying from the same importers.
Most sell at cost to drive "US" out of business.
They are NOT made by LAVA's manufacturing facilities, so how can they say they are as good as LAVA?
Because of the success of our LAVA products for the past ten years, these cheap "Knock-Offs" finally arrived.
Do You Really What a "Made in China" Fake?
eBay states as long as they do not mention LAVA or HD-2605 in their ads, there is nothing they will do.

As an Authorized LAVA Dealer, I was approached last year from this same "Knock-Off" importer about purchasing their fakes at half the price of the real thing.
But because they offer NO Quality Control, NO Manufacturer's Support, NO Manufacturer's Warranty, I had no desire to deal with them.
