The name Marantz has been associated with high end audio equipment since the early 50s. Due to their clean and powerful performance they have rightfully earned the respect of audiophiles and audio enthusiast world wide. Construction quality, durability, dependability and above all outstanding sonic performance are the clearly identifiable aspects of these vintage Marantz pieces.
The Marantz 6300 was introduced in 1976 with a production run until 1978. It is a well designed turntable built at the height of Marantzs popularity. It incorporates the advanced, innovative design and unparalleled technology that has made Marantz famous in the audio components industry.
The Model 6300 is an automatic (according to 70s technology) and manual turntable. . It features a servo controlled direct drive platter and a precision tone arm mounted on gimbal bearings. The Model 6300 also features hydraulically damped cueing, auto shut off, low capacitance cables suitable for use with CD-4, strobe-referenced electronic speed tuning, shock absorbing mounting feet, pitch control and much more.
This unit is the rare multivoltage version, so it will match any countrys voltage requirements.

Condition:
Turntable has been tested and it is operating nicely. It plays great without any issues. Looking it over closely there are some minor blemishes. The RCA cables are wrapped with electrical tape at the ends. The rear of the unit has some veneer lifting, and a piece missing. A couple of the corners of the base are rounded. There are some scratches on the dust cover.
