Three (3) vintage, circa 1937, Economy Cream Savers from Gaylord, Mich. on original green colored cardboard stock store display card. This is a device that you would have inserted into the neck of a quart milk bottle to stop the milk and allow you to pour off just the cream (before the days of homogenization). The rubber end is embossed Economy Cream Saver Patented Gaylord, Mich. Price 25 cts. Comes with a photocopy of an original packing slip found with them from the Corduroy Rubber Company of Grand Rapids, Michigan which shows that Economy Sales of Gaylord purchased 450 of these on 11/9/1937. Wonderful piece of Michigan dairy history and Americana. Great for the collector of dairy farm cow creamer creamers milk jar jars bottle bottles.
CONDITION: Near Mint, NO damage, the wire may have a bit of surface rust from storage on it and the card stock may have a lititng rust/discoloration in spots, but in general these are near mint. I grade these a 9 on a scale of 1 to 10.
