Well this transceiver needs no introduction, the FT-847 was a huge hit for yaesu from the get go.

Fitted with Collins Mechanical SSB Filters.

100W out all modes on HF and 50W on VHF 35W on UHF

MARS Modded by the Dealer from New.

Sold to me as mint, I believe it is what we would all call mint.

It is complete with Box, power lead and manual.

My summary says it all -- this is the best radio I've had. And in 30+ years of ham radio, I've toyed with many. My wife bought this radio for me as a Christmas gift. It wasn't long that I had it up and running. The radio simply does it all. I've made many satellite contacts with it and it is outstanding in ease of use for that. On HF, the radio is great. I work all I can hear and I hear many that ham buddies with more expensive rigs don't. You do have to read the manual in order to get FULL capability from this rig. Read about the DSP, the notch filter, shift filter, etc and you'll get the weak sigs to pop through. I have not had the volume problem occur, in fact, this radio has been flawless for several years now. Ergonomics on the radio is very good, there are some small buttons on the keypad to contend with. Shuttle jog tuning is terrific. Audio is superb and using the speech processor I've had many tell me the Transmit audio was terrific. I've used the radio for PSK31, RTTY, CW, and it always performs well. In short, I'd buy it again.

The transceiver has seen no use and is literally like brand new in the box.
