Lettering is actually etched into faceplate, then filled with black paint--you can feel the impressions with your finger!
Power indicator lamp works.
All inputs work correctly--Tape 1, Tape 2, Aux, Phono, Tuner. Microphjone jack not tested (I don't have a "mike")
Faceplate in good shape. Corners good, some light scratches. Scratch above "1060" and near MIC jack.
Faceplate and knobs cleaned. A couple of knobs with scratches.
All controls and switches cleaned with De-Ox-It!!
Cabinet in very good shape---some light scratches on top, won't show if in a cabinet or with another unit stacked on top.
There is a SSN scratched into the bottom cover--not very noticeable.
As with all electronics of this age, this item is sold AS-IS, but guaranteed not D.O.A. Not D.O.A. means that the unit is guaranteed to power up upon receipt, but performance is NOT guaranteed due to the possibility of damage in transit. These units were operating correctly when well packaged, and shoulp perfrom correctly upon receipt.
