Classic Thorens TD 125 turntable. Speeds of 16-33-45 are controlled by an internal electronic AC generator for accurate speed control, adjustable with reference to an integral neon-illuminated strobe. This turntable is one of the great classics. The engineering and build quality makes a lot of current turntables look fairly junky by comparison.
Works well, with good speed control and easy adjustment. Cosmetically quite good, with some indicia of wear but nothing unsightly.
Includes a blank armboard so that you can install an arm that provides an arm-cartridge combination appropriate to your listening tastes. Typically, this table is considered particularly suitable to a combination of an SME II arm with a moving-coil cartridge, but any other synergistic combination will also work well.
The table will be packed carefully to avoid damage; I have a good deal of experience with shipping turntables. No non-USA shipping addresses; please don't ask. This item is simply too large and heavy to ship economically and safely outside the USA.
