VINTAGE Dynaco A25 BOOKSHELF SPEAKERS WITH INCREDIBLE SOUND.

 

I am selling these Dynaco a25 rare classic bookshelf speakers. The pair are used.  The cabinet is finished in Walnut A great addition to a classic sound system! I have a pair myself and enjoy them daily along with a classic Marantz 2240 receiver .

 

These vintage Dynaco speakers are some of the best sounding vintage speakers I've heard.  These little babies have a surprisingly smooth midrange, sweet highs and are easy to listen to for long periods fo time.  The a25's set the standard for Dynaco's smooth speaker sound.

 

Mechanical condition:  All drivers function one tweeter was replaced with a matching dynaco tweeter purchased from Ebay.   The woofers have rubber surrounds and should never fail. Cabinets have been given a coat of danish oil and waxed.

 

Physical condition:

The cabinet have some surface scratches and a dent on the bottom of one of the speakers shown in the photo, I did not use any filler on it also the back corner of one of the speakers has a small dent shown in the photo. The original grill covers are included and Logo badges. The grill covers are not glued back in place so you can take a look at the drivers when you get them home. Make sure you unscrew the logos first before taken off the grill covers because Dynaco screws them into the front baffle. The cloth shows some signs of age but, these speakers can be hooked up to  any vintage stereo and will look good and sound incredible.

The speakers will be shipped in one 48 pound box.  They will be very carefully packed to protect against damage. Local pickup can be arranged.    For foreign buyers, shipment is by United States Postal Service Express or Priority Mail. Express is more expensive, slightly faster, and offers better tracking.   

Buyers should be aware that they are purchasing a piece of vintage audio equipment.  I try the best I can to accurately describe the item and its current operating condition, but I make no warranty of any sort, any obvious physical damage caused in shipping will be covered by insurance, and it is up to the buyer to file a claim for this.   It is always possible for items to sustain shocks that alter their working condition but result in no obvious physical damage or for a part to fail simply due to age, and I disclaim responsibility for this.  These caveats aside, in my own experience, vintage audio equipment that has been working for 20-50 years is quite robust, and likely to arrive in the same condition as it was in when shipped. 

Payment is expected within 7 days of the auction's close. If I haven't heard from you within 3 days after the auction I usually send an email to confirm your payment intentions and shipping information.

• All packages that are shipped out of the continental United States are shipped via USPS and shipping charges directly reflect what we are charged to ship the item. Buyers outside of the US will need to be aware of and responsible for any customs, duty, or taxes charged by their governments on imported items.
